An Epidemic of Chronic Pet Illness

The last few decades have witnessed an alarming increase in chronic pet disease.  These illnesses, many of which were virtually unknown before, include persistent skin and ear allergies, digestive upset, glandular disorders of the thyroid, adrenals and pancreas, seizures, gum and teeth problems, degenerative arthritis, kidney and liver failure, and all types of cancer across all ages and breeds of dogs and cats.  These physical signs of illness have been accompanied by a record number of behavioral and emotional disorders including irrational fears, aggression, difficulties in training and inability to pay attention.

All of these conditions are linked by one common factor: a breakdown of the immune system that is essential for keeping your pet strong and disease-free.

It has been strongly suggested that the precipitous decline in pet immune health may be a result of the widespread use of nutrient-poor, highly processed commercial pet foods.  Instead of eating the underlying causes of illness by supporting the immune system, many  veterinarians tend to address only the symptoms with antibiotics and cortisone, thereby allowing the disease to progress.

Given our strong emotional bonds, it is not surprising that many of us will do almost anything to secure the health and well-being of our pets- and those costs are rising sharply.

Goji strengthens immune response

Just as the goji berry has been shown to have remarkable protective and disease-fighting abilities in the human body, it may also benefit the health of your pet.  More than 40 years of research has revealed goji's ability to regulate immunity by commanding and controlling many of the body's important defense functions.  Goji's master molecule polysaccharides have the ability to restore vital DNA, preventing genetic mutations that might otherwise overwhelm your pet's immune system.

GOJI AND DIABETES MANAGEMENT

Sadly enough, diabetes has reached epidemic proportions among pets.  Goji has been used for diabetes in China for many years.  Its polysaccharides have been shown to help stabilize blood sugar and insulin response.

GOJI AND YOUR PET'S NUTRITION

Goji is not a drug, but a safe and healthy food.  It is not just any ordinary food, however, especially hen it is used in the form of a juice that has been standardized to deliver a consistently high amount of the master molecule polysaccharides.  These polysaccharides can enhance and balance all classes of immune cells.  Adding it to your pet's food may very well be one the best things you can do to help defend against debilitating chronic ailments.  With Goji, then benefits you will see are real, as animals do not experience the "placebo effect."

GOJI IS AN IMMUNE BALANCER

Goji is not an immune booster, as the would be undesirable in auto-immune disorders.  Rather, goji acts as an immune balancer, helping to re-establish normal and healthy immune function.

GOJI AND OBESITY REDUCTION

25% of pets suffer obesity.  Odds increase with spayed or neutered pets.  Obese pets are at a greater health risk of cardiovascular disease, joint problems and diabetes.  In a study, it was found that goji's polysaccharides converted food into energy more readily and reduced body weight.

" I have an 11-year-old siamese cat named Jasper.  He had a blood test before a minor surgery and the vet said that his blood sugar level was elevated.  He told us that we had to bring him back in one month to check it again, and if it was still elevated, we were going to have to put him on insulin.  We immediately started putting goji juice in his food.  He loved it!  When I took him back to the vet for the follow-up blood test, it came back perfect.  Now I make sure that Jasper has his goji juice every day."
